Ask for a Mass to be offered

Leave the name, say whether the person is living or deceased, and we pass the intention to the priest who will celebrate. Nothing is charged here: an offering, if you wish to give one, goes directly to the priest.

  1. Give the name

One person or one need. A living person does not need to know or to agree.

  2. Choose how it is offered

One Mass; a triduum of three; a novena of nine over nine days; or a Gregorian series of thirty for one person who has died.

  3. We pass it to the priest

The intention reaches the celebrant. You will not receive a photograph or a certificate — a Mass is not that kind of thing.

  4. The offering goes to him, not to us

If you want to give an offering, it belongs entirely to the priest who celebrates (Canon 947). We take no share and a Mass is never income for the fund.

FAQ

Does it cost anything to ask?

No. Asking costs nothing. If you wish to give an offering, it goes to the priest directly and never to the fund.

Do I have to be Catholic?

No. Anyone may ask for a Mass to be offered, for a living person or for someone who has died.

Will I get confirmation?

Not a certificate or a photo — a Mass is not that. If you leave an email, we can write to confirm that the intention was received.
